Fringe

Fringed Jacket- Boohoo// Top- Zara// Jeans- River Island// Bag- Next// Boots- eBay

Instant love at first sight when I saw this beautiful fringed jacket in the boohoo sale for just £8. Yes, £8. I woke up with the sunshine on my face and we've been blessed with the beautiful blue sky all day and yet, I insisted on wearing head to toe black. Don't ask. I have this beautiful, lacey cream dress from H&M that I've had for a while and I can't wait to pair it with this jacket when the weather is the most glorious. Sun, please don't leave.

Hope you've had a fabulous weekend.

I lost that beautiful spiral ring down the woods. I was devastated. My heart is still breaking over it as I type this :(

Cat Jumper- ASOS// Skirt and Chain Rings- H&M// Boots- eBay// Faux Fur Jacket- Market in Birmingham//
Nail Polish- And Other Stories

How genius is this jumper? Elbow patches that come in the form of cats; bravo, ASOS, bravo indeed. I instantly fell in love with it when I saw Amy from The Little Magpie tweet about it. Little did I know that my ever so thoughtful boyfriend had noticed it on my instagram and had ordered it for me as an anniversary gift (which was last month). Chuffed is an understatement to describe how I felt when he handed it over to me. The fit is perfect and it's thickness is just about right for Spring which is a bonus. I paired it up with my most beloved Kenzo inspired skirt from H&M. The pairing of the short skater design and the long sleeves on the jumper allows me to play with different proportions, which I think is perfect for Spring as, let's be honest, it's still a little chilly out.

Speaking of which, on Friday we were blessed to have the most beautiful weather that we've seen so far this year, so Jay and I decided to take his dogs Jack, Doug and Betty for a walk down the woods (that lovely little Husky only came over to say hello and pose for a picture, cheeky). You might have noticed that I'm wearing my ankle boots but don't worry, I didn't actually go for a walk wearing those bad boys. I knew it was going to be super muddy down there so I was sensible and borrowed Jay's mums trainers. Trust me, the boots came straight back off as soon as Jay took the last photo.

I love nature and appreciate it's beauty and tranquillity so a day like Friday was just perfect for me. I'm just awaiting for the Summer to finally arrive where I can spend my days out in the sunshine exploring hidden gems around Swansea and Cardiff with Jay (and dogs).

Hope you're having a lovely weekend. What have you been up to?

Hey everyone, hope you've had a lovely weekend and Remembrance Sunday. As a family, we started the day by going to church and then we made our way to Cardiff Bay for some lunch. My younger brother is home from Uni and his time with us makes me realise just how much I miss him. I'm so grateful for the time that we do get to spend together as a family, being able to go out for lunch with everyone there is something that we often don't appreciate or give much attention to.

Anyway, sorry about that. I guess the fact that it's Remembrance Sunday has made me a little emotional. So, on to this outfit. I am still obsessed with black but decided to add a pop of colour by pinching my sisters lovely Tartan jacket. It's so snug and I'm tempted to make it mine haha. To be honest, I'm not usually a fan of pairing black and red together. As they're both such bold colours I find that together, they look a little overwhelming but hey, that's just me.

A Pop of Tartan

Shirt- eBay// Blazer- H&M// Scarf- Urban Outfitters// Jeans- GAP// Boots- Gift// Lipstick- Collection in Queen of Hearts

Hello everyone. How have you been? Hope your week's going a lot better than mine. I'm still hideously ill and I'm hoping to shift it before Local Natives on the weekend. Let's hope!
I've had this scarf for over a year and swear it only really makes an appearance over Winter (funny that) and I feel that this year I can fully embrace it haha. If you've been reading my blog for a while (thank you) then you'll know that I love prints and a clash of them and colours. This is exactly what this scarf brings to every outfit that I match it with and the fact that it's tartan makes it all the more special.

Happy Wednesday!

Florals and Giveaway Winners

Playsuit- Love Label// Blazer- eBay (Miss Selfridge)// Wedges- New Look// Gold Chain- Regal Rose//

Jeez, where's this heatwave come from? The past few days have been a lot cooler and we've even seen some drizzly rain, so I thought that I'd be fine popping into town wearing this blazer. How little did I know that I'd be a sweaty Betty haha, not the best look. I've recently joined eBay and this blazer is my first ever purchase that I won for 99p. How lovely! You'd have noticed that I'm all about clashing prints these days so yet again, I've decided to do just that haha. In contrast to my previous outfits this ones more subtle as it's the clash of floral prints. What's Summer without a pretty floral playsuit, right?

About a month ago I hosted my first ever giveaway with Firmoo and I am happy to announce that the winners have been chosen. I'll be sending an email out very shortly. I just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who entered, it honestly meant a lot to me :)
