Corally Red

Dress- New Look// Bag- Next// Rings- H&M// Necklace- Topshop// Sandals- Primark

What I wore last week which was only what I could describe as the most humid and stressful week ever. It seems my 'all black' phase is long behind me, and I can always trust this coral/orange/red dress to lift my spirits up.
I'm starting a new job next Monday and today is my sisters 25th. If I can ignore the humidity and concentrate more on the positives of life; then I think that I am pretty blessed.

Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend.

Lana

Shirt- Forever 21// Jeans & Boots- River Island// Belt- New Look// Rings- H&M// Bag- Charity Shop// Earrings- Everours

Here is an example of one of the many perks of listening to Lana del Rey- Blue Jeans first thing in the morning. Yes, I know it's so literal but I love casual Fridays and have never been so happy to spend a whole day out in Cardiff sans a jumper or jacket. Sun, please stay out for us.
My favourite thing about these high waisted jeans is that they make me look a little taller, teeny weeny taller. I look at least 5"4, right? No?

Hope you've had a great week. Happy Friday! Any plans for the weekend?

Tumbleweed

Jacket- boohoo// Shirt- Select// Dress, Bag & Rings- H&M// Necklace c/o Stone & Armour // Shoes- Topshop

Well, well, well, long time no see, guys. I know I've been extremely absent from my blog and that it's been over two months (yikes) since my last post. I don't even think that anyone has missed my presence or even noticed my lack of posts, and I don't even have a valid reason for my absence. I guess I just got a hideous bloggers block and didn't have the energy or passion to find any relevant content for this little blog of mine.

I'll just leave you with this outfit post for the time being. I picked up this gorgeous dress from the H&M sale for just £4 and find that it's perfect for the humid weather that we've been having as of late. I've teamed the dress up with my most trusted boohoo fringed jacket, the cutest silver H&M rings and this gorgeous beaded necklace that was kindly sent to me by the lovely Laura from Stone & Armour.

I hope you're all having a fantastic Summer and that you're enjoying whatever it is that you're all up to. I can't wait to have a catch up with you all. Hopefully, my next post will be dedicated to my time at Glastonbury a few weeks ago.

Block

Jacket-Forever 21// Cropped Top and Brogues- Primark// Skirt- H&M// Bag- Charity Shop

I'm not sure what's happened to cause this 'bloggers block' that I've recently had. Maybe it's the continuous and tedious job hunting that I'm currently doing plus, attending interviews after interviews. It's such a snooze fest and I hope that I can get 'back into blogging' properly. So apologies for my lack of posts as of late.

Anyway, on to this outfit. I picked up this gorgeous skirt from H&M for just £5.99 and headed straight to the tills despite being practically skint, but I regret nothing. I love the weight of the skirt and the simple yet chic button detailing really finishes off the design beautifully for me. I'll definitely be wearing this a lot more come the Summer with more cropped tops but minus the tights and leather jacket (hopefully).

What are your plans for the weekend? Are you getting up to much? :)

Daisy Street

Blazer- H&M// Shirt- Select// Jumpsuit- Daisy Street via Asos// Shoes- Asos// Necklace- Shop Dixi// Bag- Charity Shop

Happy Maundy Thursday! Stopped over at Cowbridge to attend church and managed to squeeze in a few snaps just before the service began. Taking full advantage of the generous extra 15% off sale items that asos were offering just last week, I decided to really step out of my comfort zone and purchase the most loveliest jumpsuit that I have seen in a while. Now, being 5"2 and having disproportioned limbs, I do often find it a mission to buy full sleeved tops and trousers where cutting a few inches off isn't a requirement. Well, Praise the Lord on Holy Week for this jumpsuit fits like a glove.

What are your plans for Easter and the weekend? Mine? I plan to eat myself into a chocolate coma.

Menace

Top and Belt- New Look// Jeans- River Island// Bag- H&M// Shoes- Asos

Finally, after years and years of vigorously searching for the perfect pair of jeans, I have found them and they actually fit me. I mean, I don't even have to fold them up or anything AND they're high waisted. To say that I was over the moon when I snapped these up in River Island would be an understatement. (My fellow short limbed girls will know what I mean).

What types of jeans do you wear the most? Is there a particular style that you lean towards the most?

Moving on, I found these gorgeous Menace T-bar flats in the Asos sale for just £16 plus a further cheeky 10% off (thanks, Asos) and I already know just how much I'll be wearing them through Spring into Summer. So excited! Oh, and of course I threw on my beloved striped top to really complete the casual look.

Peep

Shirt- Charity Shop// Trousers- Uniqlo// Shoes- River Island// Rings- H&M

I was awoken by the sun peeping through my blinds which instantly made me happy and made me want to wear these peep toe lace ups from River Island. I'm so excited to be packing away my boots and welcoming my peep toes and sandals back into my life. Hooray.
This white shirt was just sitting beautifully in the charity shop near my house and I just knew that I couldn't leave the shop without this stuffed inside my bag. It has a slight pussy bow detail but I prefer it untied for some reason.

Penny Lane

White Top- Zara// Dress- H&M// Shoes- ASOS

Following my recent move back to Cardiff from London, I am desperately trying to adjust back to a more simplistic lifestyle where my mornings don't start with pushing and shoving other commuters to get a seat on the tube to work. I'll be honest, I've always been someone who enjoys leaving their comfort zone and am not the biggest fan of the familiar. Although my three month internship in London is now over, I have every ambition to fully explore the lovely city of Cardiff and make the most of my time here. If you're from Cardiff or you know some haunts around the city that you can recommend, then please let me know. First things first: finding a job/career. Wish me luck.

Anyway, on to this little outfit of mine. I'd lusted over these beautiful Penny Lane shoes on ASOS for almost an hour before I decided to order them. Come on, a reduction from £45 to £13.50 AND free delivery, I'd be a fool not to, right? Although they're pretty comfortable to walk in, I have found myself almost taking a stumble a few times but I blame that on my inability to walk in heels than the design of the shoes itself. Of course I teamed the Penny Lanes with a black and white ensemble, I'm still obsessed.

Hope you're having a lovely week.

Blazer- H&M// Shirt- Charity Shop// Skirt and Shoes- New Look// Bag- Next// Collar Chain- Regal Rose

I've re-visited my on going love for black and white today. It's safe to say that even if I have my out bursts of pairing bright colours and bold prints together, I'll always go back to my favourite black garments in my wardrobe. There's nothing I love more than a well fitted white shirt and a well tailored blazer and I found this H&M number for just £7 in the sale about a year or so ago. I'm obsessed.
An outfit wouldn't be complete without a statement jewellery in my eyes so I decided to add these gorgeous raven skull collar pins from Regal Rose to add the finishing touches.

Hope you're having a great week so far.

Pink and Silver

Jumper and Dress- Topshop// Necklace- H&M// Brogues- Primark// Tights- Miss Selfridge

Following on from yesterday's post, I just can't seem to stop layering. I always love the illusion of a dress transforming into a skirt once it's layered over with a great, chunky knitwear. I happened to pinch this pretty number and the metallic dress from my sister. I swear I love her wardrobe more than mine, so typical but I'm not even sorry haha. I guess I've completely re-conformed and fallen in love with this seasons most prominent colour. I'll try not to dig through childhood photos where my everyday outfits were compilations of every shades of pink thrown together though. Oops.

Eyes

Blazer- H&M// Shirt- Select// Skirt- H&M// Brooch- Forever 21// Shoes- Boohoo

Two months after buying this skirt and I'm still completely in love with it. It's not just the crazy Kenzo-esque eye motif that drew me in; the flattering cut and length also played a huge part. I have the littlest limbs so anything that's high waisted is a winner for me. The weather's been very pleasant today so I swapped my super thick winter coat in favour for this gorgeous plaid blazer from H&M. Such a sucker for a well fitted blazer too.

Hope you're having a great weekend.

Black Black

Crop Top- Primark// Skirt- Miss Selfridge// Shoes- Primark// Necklace- H&M

After trying to conform by adding more bold, colourful patterns into my wardrobe, I think it's safe to say that my love for black will never ever go away. To be honest, I think today's miserable weather had a lot to do with it. Of course I had to chuck in a statement necklace in there for good measure. My outfits never feel complete without them.

Hope you're having a great week :)

Crop Top- Primark// Trousers- H&M// Flats- Zara// Belt- Forever 21// Necklace- Everours

What's this? We're three days into September and the weather is absolutely scorching. I almost regretted wearing this today, almost. If you've been reading my blog then you'll know that I am a sucker for statement pieces, especially necklaces, so when I saw this beautiful Mawi inspired necklace on the Everours website for just £3 I had to snap it up. I just can't resist a bargain. Speaking of which, I bought these lovely blue flats from the Zara sale for just a tenner about a month ago and haven't really had the chance to wear them. They're super comfortable and I know that I'll be wearing more than £10 worth out of them. So so excited for Autumn to come around.

Thank you to my lovely boyfriend for taking these photos :)

Hope you're all having a lovely week so far. Good luck to everyone who's started back in school or going off to Uni soon :)
